Benji, a Hansei company, announces that Brittany Hines, Director of Product, was named a 2024 Future Leader by Behavioral Health Business and Aging Media Network, Inc

Since 2016, Hansei Solutions has been the premier revenue cycle management (RCM) company for mental health and substance abuse providers, with the nation’s largest private third-party data set for behavioral health claims. We deliver superior data, business decisions, and partnerships, combining cutting-edge technology with a personal touch to foster lasting relationships.

After working with hundreds of payers and providers, we created Benji, a user-friendly, billing-centric electronic medical records (EMR) solution. Benji streamlines clinical care, documentation, and revenue cycles with advanced automation, allowing providers to focus on patient care.

Brittany has been integral in establishing Benji as a technology leader in the behavioral healthcare space by providing passionate leadership, boundless compassion, and an insightful understanding of our industry.

Meet Brittany Hines – A Driven, Visionary Leader

Brittany Hines is a natural trailblazer with an earnest connection to leadership and a clear intention to improve complex healthcare environments. In 2022, her value became an immediate gift to Benji when she was hired to develop a comprehensive software solution combining revenue cycle operations with clinical compliance.

Brittany’s entrepreneurial spirit has played a pivotal role in advancing the healthcare industry and establishing new outpatient centers while seamlessly integrating clinical excellence with the organization’s mission.

Unwavering in her ethical standards, Brittany has not only taken the lead on Benji’s technological innovation, but she also supports her three children and one of her nieces with this pure, passionate energy while somehow sustaining meaningful relationships with friends and family. Did we mention she’s the Vice President of her daughter’s high school soccer board… and a community leader? She sits on the board of a local residential treatment center for first responders and provides CPR/AED/Narcan training to mental health and substance abuse treatment centers through the American Red Cross.

As a visionary with a personal recovery journey that started at a young age, Brittany sees the importance of balancing time away from work. Every year, she prioritizes a vacation that is not only cost-effective but one that affords her family a new cultural perspective… of course, we’re talking about a cruise, probably leading passengers in family trivia.

Aging Media Network – Future Leaders Award

Each year, Behavioral Health Business showcases the most promising talents and leaders in the behavioral health and home care, hospice and palliative care, senior housing, and skilled nursing fields. These leaders must be 40 and under, exhibit exemplary strength, intuition, and perseverance under industry-specific challenges, and focus on improving patient experience and health outcomes.

Future Leaders are nominated by their peers. In the case of behavioral health, they’re recognized for helping patients obtain access to holistic, patient-centered care for mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders that payers previously denied as “unnecessary” or “ineffective.” They’re also nominated for spearheading the transformation of one of the fastest-growing industries in health care, improving outcomes as demand increases across the country.

Leadership Recognized by Peers

Here are a few testimonials from the peers and colleagues Brittany has impacted in her driven work to improve behavioral healthcare:

“One of the first qualities I recognized in Ms. Hines was her incredible energy and drive toward helping others. What mattered most to her was not getting the compliance numbers up but rather the genuine improvement in people’s mental health and recovery. She consistently made herself available to clinicians, medical staff, administrative and support staff to help elevate their services in a meaningful way.

—Nancy Kirby, Ed.D., Licensed Psychologist, Health Service Provider

Brittany is bright, articulate, innovative, and incredibly hard-working. Her enthusiasm for the job comes through in everything she does. She is dedicated, loyal, very detailed, and takes great pride in her work. Her positive attitude makes her a pleasure to work with and is one of the reasons she is so well-liked by her coworkers and is sought out by employees of other facilities. I cannot think of a more worthy candidate, and Brittany has positively touched many lives already in her short career, both as a colleague and to the many clients she has helped in their journey. I have no doubt she will continue to be a leader in the behavioral health field.”
