We’re proud to announce that Benji, a Hansei Company, is now an official Technology Partner of the NAATP Foundation for Recovery Science and Education (FoRSE).
FoRSE is a national initiative dedicated to advancing addiction treatment through data-driven research and quality improvement. Through its Treatment Outcomes Program, FoRSE enables providers to submit de-identified, standardized data to a centralized repository—helping the field better understand what works, improve clinical practices, and influence public policy.
With this new integration, Benji clients can now participate seamlessly in the FoRSE Outcomes Program. No custom development is required—just a simple connection that unlocks the ability to:
- Submit outcomes data effortlessly
- Benchmark performance against national peer organizations
- Contribute to a growing body of research shaping the future of addiction care

“Building Benji has always been personal. We created it because we believe behavioral health providers deserve tools built with heart — tools that make their jobs easier and their care more impactful. Partnering with NAATP’s FoRSE Program takes that mission one step further. It means the outcomes of real people’s recovery journeys are no longer just anecdotal — they’re measurable, meaningful, and part of a national movement to improve care. This isn’t just about data. It’s about using every insight to honor the work providers do and the lives they’re helping to heal.”
— Brittany Hines, Director of Product, Benji
Why It Matters
In behavioral health, tracking outcome measures isn’t just about metrics — it’s about ensuring the care we provide is truly making a difference. Consistent, standardized data helps treatment centers:
- Identify what’s working
- Uncover areas for improvement
- Advocate for better resources and funding
It’s a vital step toward transforming recovery into a measurable, sustainable process — and building a future where data doesn’t just live in charts; it drives change.
“At FoRSE, we believe that high-quality data is essential to improving outcomes in addiction treatment. Our partnership with Hansei and the integration with Benji EMR represents a meaningful step forward in making outcomes measurement more accessible and actionable for providers. We share a commitment to helping behavioral health organizations demonstrate their impact with data, so they can focus on what matters most: delivering quality care.”
— Annie Peters, PhD, LP, Director
More About the FoRSE Outcomes Program
The NAATP Foundation for Recovery Science and Education (FoRSE) Treatment Outcomes Program is a national initiative that helps addiction treatment providers measure, understand, and improve the impact of their care. Participating providers submit de-identified patient data to a centralized repository, enabling:
- Validated patient-reported outcomes across the care continuum
- Comparative benchmarking against national averages
- Insights into trends in recovery progress, engagement, and quality of life
- Support for data-driven quality improvement and communication with payers, partners, and the public
At Benji, we believe that better data leads to better care—not just for the sake of numbers, but for the individuals and families behind them. By supporting NAATP’s FoRSE initiative, we’re investing in the kind of research that gets to the root of what works in addiction and mental health treatment.
Together, we’re helping build a future where care is more accessible, outcomes are more equitable, and every person’s recovery journey is supported by real insight and compassion.
